This course is designed for PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Providers who wish to obtain their instructor certification.

Course Prerequisites:

• Students must have an excellent working knowledge of the PALS course content, current CPR and PALS Provider cards.
• Students are required to take the pre-test prior to the first day of class. You must bring proof of completion of the self-assessment/pre-test with you to class either in printed or electronic form (picture of completion on your computer screen when printing is not an option). Passing score for the pre-test is 70%, you may take the test multiple times to achieve a passing score.

Course Completion

Upon successful completion of this course, the AHA PALS Instructor Essentials and instructor monitoring, students will receive a PALS Instructor Card and a Completion Certificate with 8 Continuing Education units.
